Gujarat is the major Castor growing state in the country and this time Rajkot has been aptly selected considering India’s pre-eminent position in world Castor trade & industry and Gujarat’s solid contribution of 70% to the total production and export of Castor Oil & its Derivatives.
India’s exports of Castor oil and derivatives are estimated at over Rs.2000 crores per annum. The global castor derivatives market estimated to be over US$ 800 million is highly dependant on India. This year, castor crop is expected over 10.0 lakh tonnes and expecting further increase in domestic consumption and export of Castor oil, derivatives and castor meal from India.

Last six years, Castor Seminars have provided a platform to deliberate and focus on the issues before the Castor Industry and also to arrive at the solutions by fruitful interactions with the eminent speakers and panel members from India & abroad.
